Remember that the while loop is really similar to the for loop.

in this case, a for loop would be written like:

for (i=0; i<2; i++) {

//do stuff

}

In the example you posted, you’re setting the variable, but you still need to limit the loop to happening twice (the i<2 part) and increment i so it increases by one with each loop (the i++ part).

The while loop needs all the same parts in this case, it’s just organized a little differently.

In just one minute, more than 204 million emails are sent. Amazon rings up about $83,000 in sales. Around 20 million photos are viewed and 3,000 uploaded on Flickr. At least 6 million Facebook pages are viewed around the world. And more than 61,000 hours of music are played on Pandora while more than 1.3 million video clips are watched on YouTube.

As you’re experimenting with your phonegap app, you should run your code in chrome like any web project. It’s somewhat easier to debug the html, css, and js, using chrome’s developer tools than in xcode or exclipse.

Here’s some resources:

http://jquerymobile.com/ - you’ll probably want to use jquery mobile to set up the ui of your project.

http://www.ubelly.com/2012/02/jquery-mobile-101/ - this is a nice intro to jquery mobile tutorial.

You’ll be using a JSONP feed to send data from the site to the app.
